Christy Downs, ChFC

Christy Downs is Director of Operations & Case Design at FFP Insurance Services. In this role, Christy leads our team of case managers in all aspects of processing new business for FFP agents. 

Christy is a licensed life insurance agent and also holds her Series 7 and 66 Security Licenses. She is also a proud graduate of California State University Northridge with a B.S. in Financial Services. Go Matadors! A big believer in ongoing education, Christy recently completed her ChFC designation and continues towards her CLU with final goal of earning the CFP designation.  

Christy also specializes in case design and underwriting. With over 15 years of experience in financial services, Christy’s knowledge of carriers, products, and underwriting gives her unique insight into developing creative cases for our agents and their clients.

She has a passion for helping agents (new and seasoned veterans) figure out how to help clients reach their goals most effectively.  That passion, coupled with her ability to get even the most challenging, cases through new business and underwriting, is one reason agents trust her expertise. 

New to being an empty nester, Christy spends her time outside of work and class: reading, finding recipes for her husband to cook, growing succulents and houseplants, and of course hanging out with her furry buddy Jax.
